What it means

영어 (yeongeo) is “English language,” 메뉴 (menyu) is “menu,” and 있어요? (isseoyo?) asks “Is there one? / Do you have one?” The Basic Korean Dictionary lists 있다 as an adjective for something that exists, and for having an object or ability, among other senses.

When to use it

Ask once you are seated or when staff first come over. If there is none, point at a dish and use 이거 주세요.

Use it for other things too

Swap 영어 메뉴 for another noun and the same pattern asks “Do you have ~?”
