Show! Music Core — MBC’s Saturday music show

Show! Music Core is MBC’s weekly music show, known in Korea by the short name “Eumjung” (음중). MBC’s program page sums it up as “the power of Korean music that captures Saturday afternoon” and lists it on Saturdays at 3:20 p.m. Korea time. It’s a regular stop for comebacks — MBC’s own entertainment news covered MEOVV’s “GO HARD” comeback stage there in October 2026.

MBC’s program page has a chart menu (“음중차트”) and a viewer committee section, but we couldn’t find the scoring formula published there. As reported by Tenasia in March 2024, the score combined digital music 50%, album sales 10%, music videos 10%, broadcast count 10%, viewer committee 5%, global vote 5% and live vote 10%, with digital and album scores based on Circle Chart. These are 2024 figures, so MBC may have changed them since.

In Korea it airs on MBC, and the official program page links to a free live stream (“무료 Live”) and replays on MBC’s website. MBC’s K-pop YouTube channel, MBCkpop, posts special clips and official fancams from the show. The program page has no public audience-application guide.
