It was written by Kim Eun-sook (Goblin, Mr. Sunshine) and directed by Ahn Gil-ho.

Why people love it

At the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards it won Best Drama, Best Actress for Song Hye-kyo and Best Supporting Actress for Lim Ji-yeon. On Netflix, Part 1 rose to No. 1 on the global non-English TV chart in its second week.

Viewers love the slow-burning, patient revenge, and the game of baduk (Go) that Dong-eun uses to mirror her moves.
