Extraordinary Attorney Woo OST (2LP color vinyl)
What it's about
Woo Young-woo, a young lawyer on the autism spectrum with an extraordinary memory, joins Hanbada, a top law firm in Seoul. Her first case is defending her childhood neighbor, who is charged with attempted murder. Each case shows how she sees the world differently, with whales never far from her mind.
It aired on ENA from June to August 2022 (16 episodes), written by Moon Ji-won and directed by Yoo In-shik.
Why people love it
It began at 0.95% and ended at 17.53% (Nielsen Korea, nationwide paid households), about 18 times higher and an all-time record for ENA. On Netflix it was the most-watched non-English show worldwide for weeks in summer 2022.
At the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards, Park Eun-bin won the TV Grand Prize and Yoo In-shik won Best Director.
